Ingrédients (4 portions)

  • Lean ground beef 1 lb
  • Medium tortillas 4 pieces
  • Cheddar cheese slices 4 pieces
  • Shredded romaine lettuce 2 cups
  • Sandwich pickle slices 8 pieces
  • Tomatoes (sliced, optional) 2 pieces
  • Red onion (sliced, optional) 1/2 piece
  • Burger sauce (to taste) 4 tbsp

    Prepare the vegetables: shred the lettuce, slice the tomatoes and red onion.

    Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and place them in the center of each tortilla.

    Spread the meat into a thin layer over the entire surface of the tortilla, right to the edges.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Place the tortillas meat-side down in the hot skillet.

    Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the meat is well browned and crispy.

    Flip the tortilla, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the meat, and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

    Remove from the skillet, garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, and burger sauce before serving.
Notes & Astuces du chef

For a perfectly crispy crust, make sure the skillet is very hot before adding the tortillas. You can also lightly toast the tortillas beforehand if you prefer a sturdier base.
